WHAT WE DO
Our Linishing machines are water operated, this ensures that there is no heat distortion or discolouration created in the process. Our finishes include: Dull polish, satin polish, 1K/2K, bright, mirror and super mirror.
We produce RA value work with certification, this is for the food and nuclear industry etc.
Our services include: weld removal/blending, grinding, linishing and graining.
We offer a collection and delivery service
Flat bar
The sizes of our Flat bars (rolled edge and hot rolled) that we can process range from 10mm-200mm in width and 3mm-20mm in thickness.
Angle
The sizes of our angles that we can process range from 15x15mm-150x150mm.
Tube/round bar
The sizes of our Tubes and round bars that we can process range from 10mmOD-154mmOD for Tubes and 6mm OD-30mmOD for round bars.
Box sections
We polish square boxes and rectangular boxes. The sizes we can process range from 15x15mm-150x150mm and 20x30mm-200x100mm
Pipe
The sizes of our pipes we can process range from 1/2 inch-5 inches and SCH5-SCH40 in thickness.
Profiles/extrusions
This is part of our hand polishing section where we can process glass clamps and fittings etc. and worked on many bespoke projects.
About us
Kelly's Polishing is a family business which has been servicing the metal industry for the last 30 years. Steve Kelly after 10 years of working as a metal polisher for different companies decided to create his own company 'Plymouth Metal Polishing'. From these humble beginnings the business grew to become one of the largest metal polishing companies in the UK with the company gaining around 15 employees and servicing various industries including metal suppliers, shop fitters and yacht companies.

In 2015 Steve's eldest son Lewis decided to expand the business and relocated to Avonmouth in Bristol and as a result of this the decision was taken to call the company 'Kelly's Metal Polishing'. All our employees are personally trained by Steve and Lewis in order to maintain the highest of workmanship. As of 2018 the youngest son Macauley became a partner in the business. The company has an unparalleled name for quality and service this is because of the passion felt for the quality of work provided and the willingness to meet all of the customers needs.
